Therapeutic Touch Institute

Therapeutic Touch Training in Toronto

Therapeutic Touch is a holistic therapy that affects body, mind, emotions and spirit in a gentle, healing way.  Whether to relieve a headache, calm a muscle spasm, soothe a crying baby or stimulate the recovery of a sick person, Therapeutic Touch shows you how to become part of your own or someone else’s healing process.

As we learn and practice and as we receive Therapeutic Touch, we find our lives coming into a state of harmony and balance…and we go more lightly through life.  It is a simple yet profound learning about oneself, others and the world and teaches us how we can open our hearts and be present with ourselves and others to alleviate pain and suffering and facilitate peace, strength and healing and enhance the quality of life.

At the Therapeutic Touch Institute, we offer the following programs and services:

Basic Level Workshops in Therapeutic Touch™

Therapeutic Touch Early History

“Therapeutic Touch derives from, but is not the same as, the ancient art of the laying-on of hands. The major points of difference are methodological. Therapeutic Touch has no religious base; it is a conscious, intentional act; it is based on research findings and does not require a declaration of faith from the patient or the practitioner for it to be effective.
