Foundations of Therapeutic Touch®

Location: Southeast Toronto

Foundations of Therapeutic Touch weekend intensive introduces the history of Therapeutic Touch, theoretical foundations and assumptions, attributes of a Therapeutic Touch practitioner, the importance of sustained centering, the five phases of a Therapeutic Touch healing session, ethical considerations, and applications of Therapeutic Touch.

On the completion of this workshop, the student will be able to:

  1. Name three attributes of a centered state
  2. Provide an introduction to the healing partner (Hp)/client for the Therapeutic Touch session including roles and expectations
  3. Demonstrate the five phases of the Therapeutic Touch session (do a session)
  4. Describe the five phases of the Therapeutic Touch process (explain what you did)
  5. Provide basic history of Therapeutic Touch.

Upon completion, participants receive a Therapeutic Touch Binder with workshop handouts, a reading list, and a Certificate of Participation.

Registration:

Register for both Foundations and Transpersonal Nature of Therapeutic taken within a 6-month period: $600.
