Deep Healing is just that – Deep!

Deep Healing is just that – DeepDeep healing is akin to deep listening. To get to the level of healing that’s required to heal trauma in yourself you have to first open to yourself and listen deeply, patiently with compassion and forgiveness. This, deep and active listening, in itself, is a challenge and a particularly trying one for someone who is suffering with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) where images, thoughts and associations can trigger and run a past memory that creates a lived experience of the past traumatic incident, as if it were occurring right here, right now.

The sense of powerlessness, anger, pain and distress is embodied and held in the fear of loss of control and the memory of the pain and suffering inherent in the mental program that’s become etched like an endless play loop in the subconscious mind. It’s “this” mental program that controls the traumatized individual.

To heal is to become free from the fear; see the mental program for what it is; release it; and then write a new script that’s appropriate and life affirming.

Deep healing, I believe, can only be achieved with an anchoring, tethering support provided by and created through a relationship that is dedicated to and focused on creating the conditions for healing to occur. This is the work of the professional healer or therapist. Learn how:

As one of my clients said, “Healing on my own? No, that was not possible for me,  nor as you know, was going the psychotherapeutical route with regards to this. On my own I would have been too frightened, a feeling of no control and there was too much fear anyway. Psychotherapy was a couple of exhausting repetitive years which I later realized was not what really helped me because there was, too much head stuff, only head stuff and no real deep feeling (I just dissociated when it threatened to get too close). I needed to feel secure, to be really grounded, to have someone I trusted hold the space while I experienced both the feelings and the memories etched in my mind and experience them at one and the same time. Doing it together with someone –  with you – not a feeling of me being completely alone, helped.”

Deep Healing is just that – Deep2Respect the Mystery

While, only you can truly heal yourself, you’re never alone in the healing process.

You’re in ongoing, integral relationship with the Universal Healing Field, our primary healing partner, and then there’s the professional “healer/practitioner” who, in partnership with you and the Universe, creates the conditions for the possibility of healing to arise.

In this healing scenario as with any other, the outcome is always beyond our control and yet, the more we respect and honour the mystery that is healing; the more effective “instruments of healing”, it seems, we become.

Back in 2005 I snapped and started to recover until I went to the doctor and got worthless SSRI drugs and started with a stupid unqualified therapist. A psychiatrist who considered certifying me, ordered no self discovery type therapy. I had vary little idea about what hit me. Over time I would read stuff and think back and managed to list 13 stress factors. It was very hard to take the fact that I was a mental case. After ten years I only have one big problem get rid of. I'm just not mad at myself or anyone. I had no knowledge of what would happen to me. My biggest fault was having too much guts. I can live with that. Most of the time I feel on top of the world and I take most of the credit for this. I designed a meditation and found a device that measures progress at it. The Universal Healing Field as you call it, is poring on me.

I seemed a mass of triggers and so much triggered me and for SO, so long. I came to you. We worked together – coaching, healing, and healing-coaching! I thought I'd never escape the triggers but now I suddenly realise they have but almost all gone. And my work with you continues.
    I am so different.
I am so grateful to both the Universal Healing Field/The Power That Is and to you Julia for facilitating, helping and guiding me.
    Thank you Julia.
