Emotions are energy in motion. They are the result of chemical processes triggered by our thoughts while feelings are the states of consciousness that we experience as a result, through our awareness. Moods describe the quality of our feeling state at any given time. All are subject to change.
Generated by thought, emotions are a powerful feedback mechanism.What we feel is a reflection of what we have thought and what we have thought is a reflection of what we have perceived and how we feel about it.
All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
The thought manifests as the word;
The word manifests as the deed;
The deed becomes habit;
And habit hardens into character.

Sensation – The Body’s Communication System
Poorly managed emotion can cause havoc. Anxiety disorders, characterized by excessive, uncontrolled every day worry can result in the following physical symptoms:
- Muscle tension
- Nausea
- Gastrointestinal discomfort
- Cold and clammy hands
- Difficulty swallowing
- Jumpiness and
- Difficulty sleeping.
Suppressed emotions may be experienced as knots, pain, tension (a form of blocked energy) stored in your cells and locked within the muscle tissue or fascia adding to your stress and creating imbalance and possibly ill health.
