Sometimes after a personal or professional set-back, we find ourselves surprised by strong feelings of betrayal and resentment that arise when friends and family members respond to us with less empathy/kindness and understanding than how we would have hoped.
In this workshop you will learn proven strategies to experience your emotions with a greater sense of inner peace, ease and flow. In the process you will develop response-ability. Rather than reacting in a situation, you will learn how to respond on your own terms to your friends, associates and loved ones.
You will be introduced to the 7 attitudes of mindfulness and learn how to apply mindfulness principles and practices that help you appreciate your feelings as a powerful personal communications vocabulary and inner guidance system.
Sunday, April 6, 2014, 2:30 – 5:00 pm
Verity Club, 111d Queen St. E. just west of Jarvis
Who’s it for?
This workshop’s for you if you’re tired of feeling mad, frustrated, upset, hurt, angry or resentful. Feeling victim to a situation beyond your control is disempowering and can lead you to feel stuck, trapped, cornered or undermined by what’s been happening. Attending this workshop will help you take a break from your experience, help you shift perspective and see yourself and your situation more clearly and help you discover new possibilities that inspire hope and empower positive action.
“When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.” Miguel Ruiz
