THERAPEUTIC TOUCH LEVEL ONE WORKSHOP FOR HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS

LEVEL ONE
In a Level 1 workshop, participants learn the holistic form of energy healing called Therapeutic Touch and its various applications. They will have the opportunity to practice giving and receiving a Therapeutic Touch session with supervision and feedback, learn about how it developed and leading-edge scientific research that supports its use.
Scientific research and experience show that Therapeutic Touch, Krieger/Kunz method:
Relieves stress, pain and anxiety
Promotes deep relaxation and healing
Improves sleep and wellbeing
Enhances the body’s natural healing process
Promotes balance and wholeness
At the end of the 8-hour workshop, participants will have the confidence to begin to practice Therapeutic Touch on family members, co-workers, patients and students, and themselves and apply the principles they learned to improve their personal coping skills.
Registrants receive Level One handouts, a reading list and a Certificate of Participation, upon completing the Workshop
