Business Management Coaching

 

I signed up for a 12 session coaching program with Kaizen Leadership Institute to develop my ability to manage in a more organized and efficient manner without changing my commitment to the democratic organizational structure at Pure and Simple, my business of 20 years. After 3 months of coaching, I’ve enjoyed significant improvement in my management abilities – better than expected! Through our coaching partnership, Julia shared great management best practices with me. Julia’s perceptive ability and coaching style helped me gain insight into the nature of my character, leadership style and how best to apply it to my organization. She is an exceptionally astute listener and has highly developed intuitive abilities to grasp the situation and quickly understand where I need help; offering insight and guidance, as needed. Looking back over our first three-month business coaching program, the results include: 1. Developing a hiring process for a new position of marketing manager 2. Designing a process to help me clarify my business and personal goals, and 3. Creating a guide to better assess and monitor the progress of my senior staff. The personal learning outcomes have also been significant. I’ve developed my ability and confidence in designing effective hiring processes and learned to apply what I’ve learned to other staff hiring situations; I’ve learned how to create tools to better manage my staff and I’ve learned to act more objectively, mindfully and professionally at work. I look forward to continued learning, professional development, and personal growth as I continue my coaching with Julia von Flotow and the Kaizen Leadership Institute.

Strategic Action Steps and Follow Through for Rapid Progress

I started coaching with Julia to make more rapid progress towards automating my company. After just 4 sessions I realized we were definitely making more rapid progress on strategic business objectives. Leadership Coaching for Professional and Personal Progress, A Safety Net

Creating space for problem solving and having a field-tested coaching process to follow is key to moving forward towards a solution that is aligned with values and vision. Once the ground work is done, the progress simply needs occasional fine-tuning. Each coaching session helped me take another great leap forward. It is great to know that coaching is so flexible, can meet my pace and my specific needs.
