This practitioner development program is specially designed to help dedicated students of Therapeutic Touch (TT) complete the study and practicum required of them by the Therapeutic Touch Network of Ontario (TTNO) to achieve Therapeutic Touch Recognized Practitioner (TT RP) status within a one (1) year period.
While achieving Therapeutic Touch Recognized Practitioner status has been a self-directed process with workbook practitioners finding support through attending TTNO Branch/Practice Group Meetings, it is often a challenging journey that can range from my experience of 18 months to as I’ve heard from some of my students, up to 13 years or more.
The Healer’s Path, Therapeutic Touch Mentorship Program provides the structure, mentoring and coaching support to complete the required practicum while enhancing opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
Program Objectives:
During the program, participants can expect:
- To develop an in depth understanding of the theory and practice of Therapeutic Touch as developed by Krieger Kunz
- To properly complete the TTNO Practitioner Workbook and gain insight into and develop their unique perceptual and healing abilities
- To develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the roles and relationship of healer and healee in the Therapeutic Touch session
- To understand the value and importance of the language of human energetics (TTNO Glossary) and develop comfort level and fluency in the use of this language.
- To create a vision for how they want to integrate the knowledge and practice of Therapeutic Touch into their lives
- To establish personal best practices that align their vision and values and help them develop a vision and plan for the development of a healing practice, if they choose
- Support in developing strategies for finding people to offer sessions to on a regular basis, as this is the only way to develop confidence and skill.
